mission and accreditations

Mission

The mission of Aviva Family and Children’s Services is to provide a comprehensive range of diverse and culturally sensitive therapeutic and educational programs to help at-risk, emotionally distressed, abused, and neglected youth – as well as their families – function more effectively as individuals and within the family and community.

Accreditations

COA The Council on Accreditation (COA) is an international, independent organization, which accredits agencies providing behavioral healthcare and child and family services. Aviva earned the right to display the prestigious COA logo by successfully completing an intense and comprehensive accreditation process, which must be repeated every five years. The COA logo assures the public that our agency is independently accredited by a national organization in the field of human and social services for delivering a superior level of professional and quality services to our clients and their families.

WASC The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is an independent accrediting organization for high schools and higher education programs. Aviva High School’s certification by WASC demonstrates our provision of the highest quality learning experience for our students and our continuous commitment to improving school performance. Aviva High School was awarded the highest level of WASC’s accreditation by receiving a six-year accreditation.
