Making the dream of a better life a reality.

For almost 100 years, Aviva Family and Children’s Services has reached out across Los Angeles’ many communities providing quality comprehensive social services to meet the needs of changing times and a diverse population.

We continue to transform lives every day, but before children and their families can turn to us, we must turn to our supporters. With your gift, we can fulfill our daily mission to provide a safe home for an abused and neglected child; a quality learning environment for an at-risk teen; affordable child care for a struggling single mom; and counseling for a family that needs to overcome the pain of incest or domestic violence.

Thank you for your interest in making the dream of a better life a reality for Aviva’s children and families in crisis.

Corey M. Criego Memorial

Corey M. CriegoCorey M. Criego passed away on August 31, 2011 at his home in Pasadena, CA. A special Corey M. Criego Memorial Fund was established by Corey’s family.

Corey was a graduate of the University of West Los Angeles, School of Law. He was a champion of protecting the rights of those who cannot protect themselves, especially children who are abused, physically and emotionally. Given Corey’s devotion to children who are abused, the Corey M. Criego Memorial Fund will be used to reach out to transform the lives of these children through providing comprehensive therapeutic services for an abused and neglected child; a quality learning environment for an at-risk teen; affordable child care for a struggling single mom; and/or counseling for a family that needs to overcome the pain of incest or domestic violence.

Corey is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Radha Savitala. Also surviving is his young daughter Rio Criego, 20 months. You may make a donation to the Corey M. Criego Memorial Fund by clicking on the link below or by check mailed to:

Stock and Real Estate Gifts - By donating appreciated assets, you can make a lasting contribution while receiving tax benefits such as charitable income tax deductions and capital gains tax savings. Please check with your financial advisor or attorney before you proceed.

Planned gift vehicles are used to build long-term stability at Aviva Family and Children’s Services so that generations to come can continue to benefit from your kindness and generosity.
