9th Annual Platinum Luncheon
Under Aviva’s Board Vice Chair, Susan Casden’s leadership, the 9th Annual Platinum Luncheon was a beautiful success. On November 14, a select group of more than 140 women had an exclusive opportunity to view Carolina Herrera’s elegant 2012 Spring Collection. Carolina herself joined Aviva Platinum members in the exquisite event held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
During the luncheon, guests heard from Ronesha Williams, 2010 Aviva High School graduate, who courageously shared her story:
"Before I came to Aviva, every path I was on was a path to destruction... At Aviva, I was surrounded by people who cared for me and wanted the best for me. It was hard for me to get along with adults and accept them telling me what to do. But I realized that they cared for me, saw potential in me, and wanted me to believe in myself... Aviva taught me not to be afraid to ask for help. [Aviva is] about determination, honesty, commitment, and attitude."
Aviva applauds Saks Fifth Avenue, Beverly Hills for sponsoring the past four luncheons. Saks Fifth Avenue has had a tremendous impact on our agency. We also thank Yifat Oren and Associates for contributing their event planning expertise. These luncheons have been spectacular.
Lastly, thank you to the Platinum Associates, who have supported and continue to support Aviva in our mission to provide educational and treatment services to at-risk teen girls.
