More than 300 supporters and friends of Aviva filled the rooms at the new luxury SLS Hotel and José Andrés’ The Bazaar restaurant for Aviva’s annual Triumph of the Spirit Awards Gala. This year the event known as the “A” Party was planned by Susan Casden. It was a unique and memorable evening to honor three incredible women who have made a significant impact this year on the at-risk, abused and neglected children and families of Los Angeles County. Honorees were:

The night began with a powerful program highlighting the lives of Aviva’s teen residents from our residential program. The rest of the evening guests enjoyed then extraordinaire cuisine of Chef José Andrés. Guests had a dining adventure they will not soon forget, filling their plates with exotic tapas from cotton candy foie gras lollipops to tomato and watermelon skewers.
The event was a huge success and on behalf of all the children and families of Aviva, we thank everyone that supported this event and donated to our organization.
