 Field Trips
Enrichment activities, such as field trips to museums and local parks and gardens, are conducted throughout the year. Some recent examples include:

- The Huntington Museum & Gardens
- The Los Angeles Arboretum
- The Getty Center

- The DaVinci Museum
- The California Science Center

FAQs

 What are the requirements for a high school diploma from LAUSD?

 In order to earn a diploma, a student must pass the English and mathematics sections of the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)**, complete all required coursework, and earn at least 230 credits. **The CAHSEE is currently not required for those students graduating in the Class of 2011, please click here for more information from the California Department of Education.

 

 Where can I get more information about financial aid for college and trade schools?

 Visit the California Student Aid Commission at http://www.csac.ca.gov/ for information and forms for financial aid including Cal Grants, loans, and links to budget calculators. Also, go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ for information and required financial aid forms.
