Aviva High School (AHS)

Aviva High School is a state certified non-public high school for girls in need of special education. AHS is one of the very few all-girl high schools in Los Angeles County, and has the distinction of being accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

AHS has a maximum enrollment of 84 students, with a teacher to student ratio of 1:6. Forty-eight of the students are enrolled from Aviva's residential treatment program. AHS accepts referrals of adolescent girls from the community in need of special education.

Aviva High provides a range of educational and clinical services, assisting students to become independent well-adjusted young adults. AHS provides a positive and rewarding academic environment as well as opportunities to learn appropriate social skills for handling stress and resolving conflict.

Aviva High School is proud of the success of its graduating students. In recent years, over 95% Aviva graduates have gone on to attend universities, junior colleges and post secondary vocational programs, many of them receiving scholarships.
