Wraparound Services empower families to take the lead in their own treatment.  These families often are on the brink of having their child removed from the home.

The Wraparound team steps in to partner with the child and family to preserve the family’s unity.  A team of professionals and paraprofessionals wrap intensive treatment components around the family and child.

One team member is the Parent Partner who can relate directly to a family’s struggles since their family was once in crisis, too. The Parent Partner plays a critical role helping to alleviate any sense of embarrassment or denial, and can assist the family in learning how to implement change that will benefit the family and strengthen its bonds.

Wraparound teams drove more than 228,000 miles delivering more than 25,800 hours of services to children and their families in 2014.

Susan B. story
Susan B., whose family benefitted from Aviva’s Wraparound services

When I got custody of my grandson, the court required us to get help at Aviva. He had a lot of emotional issues that came out in behavioral problems. Aviva helped him to cope with his life and it helped us to deal with our grandson. He has come such a long way in such a short time. I know he wouldn’t be where he is today without the help of Aviva’s Wraparound team. They have been with us every step of the way.  People say, ‘It takes a village.’ Aviva is my village!
